Japan Earthquake & Tsunami

 

Let us all continue to keep in our prayers those affected by this horrific turn of events in Japan. The death toll exceeds 10,000, it is the worst disaster in Japan since the US dropped the atomic bomb in WWII.

 

Prayers are nice, but they also need money. No not all of us can donate money, I'm poor, I'm scraping like many Americans. But that doesn't stop me from picking up the phone or getting off my butt to seek monetary help from those who can contribute. You can do the same.

 

Japan may be on the other side of the world. The USA government and the Japanese government have not always got along. Many Americans may still hold hostilities for the bombing of Pearl Harbor. No question the USA and Japanese compete against each other for supremacy in new technology. None of this has anything to do with the fact these are our brothers and sisters. Ministry has no political boundaries, we have no limitations with respect to who we help. Ministers are required by law to remain politically neutral.

 

When it comes to being a Minister I'm not a democrat or republican, my citizenship has no bearing, I show no prejudice. These folks in Japan are as much our brother and sister, as each and every individual in the USA is. Your actions should be no different than if it was your own community devastated by this disaster.
