Universal Life Church - Is FREE ORDINATION a SCAM?

It is a NO BRAINER - Ordination is a sacrament and it is free, at least most of the times it is a sacrament. I think the jury is out whether or not our Heavenly Father sees ordinations of wedding ministers as a sacrament.

 

Now on the internet and between us and other Universal Life Churches we see two forms of ordination.

 

Faith Based which is the type of ordination we offer, again we are the only Universal Life Church to offer Faith Based Ordination. There is a HUGE difference between Faith Based Ordination and what some refer to as interfaith ordination.

 

Others use the word interfaith to purposely deceive and to make it sound like it is a Faith Based Ordination. They even put on their certificates (for which they charge substantially) "Ordained in the doctrine of faith" the only thing is they leave out the most important facet of all and that is what doctrine of faith? Also note how they leave out ALL doctrines of faith as well.

 

Interfaith does not mean you are ordained in all faiths, but ordained void of within anyone sect of faith. With interfaith ordination you are not a faith based minister, in fact in these online ordination assembly lines you will see a caption stating how you can officiate baptisms, weddings and funerals. Interfaith ordination makes you a Wedding Minister and a Wedding Minister only. You do not need to be an ordained minister to officiate baptisms or funerals.

 

FAITH BASED ORDINATION of which we are the ONLY Universal Life Church to offer such is devout to a respective sect of faith, in our case we adhere to the Christian Doctrine. We offer non-denominational Christian ordination. We also in addition offer ordination as an independent Catholic Priest.

 

Wherefore we offer REAL ORDINATION = REAL MINISTERS

 

If you just want to officiate non-faith weddings, get ordained as a Wedding Minister through another ULC or ordination assembly line as such. Interfaith ordination is fine as you'll just become another statistic in the Hamburger War of ULC Churches that boast of 18-20 million ordained and counting. By doing so you will be able to serve as a wedding minister legally in most US States.

 

But if you want to be more than just a non faith Wedding Minister and want to be viewed as a Real Minister within your own Faith?

Our Ordination is FREE TOO, but just like all other ULC Churches and online assembly lines we do charge for certificates and ministry credentials. I wish we could give them away free, but we can't, nor can anyone else.

 

Again Ordination is FREE no matter where you go - Don't fall for the bait of FREE ORDINATION

 

The truth is most States, County Offices and other Countries require proof of your ordination in the form of a Minister Picture ID Card, Certificate, Letter in Good Standing and by some type of verification which is not free.

 

We don't give these away any more than any other Church or ordination assembly line gives them away. What we can do however, is offer them at a cost far less than all others? We don't charge for replacement certificates or each letter in good standing, we provide unlimited copies for what others charge for just one of each.

 

I've found that people who advertise FREE THIS, FREE THAT, that usually this is the sign of an inferior product or service.
