Official Universal Life Church Newsletter

Easter is soon to be upon us. There will be no weekend newsletter this coming week, if one gets sent, it will be a duplicate of this week's newsletter.

I asked a question on Facebook, what is the more important Church Holiday, Christmas or Easter? Last time I looked Christmas was winning rather handily at that.

I think Christmas and the birth of Christ is the most popular, no question! But, the most important one between the two I would have to say is Easter. They are definitely the two most important Church Holidays no doubt, but regarding the overall picture the Crucifixion and the fact Christ arose from the dead three days later, this has far greater implications in my mind.

For us here on Earth our birth is to date the biggest thing to have happened to us in life as we know it. My guess is though that upon our death we will come to realize that this event will become the biggest plateau in our overall existence, taking precedence away from our birth. I believe that death is a renewal or a rebirth back to where we came from before our earthly birth.

Regardless of which is which in your eyes, have a season of great blessings.

Please we need Ministers starting up Charter Churches throughout
the world. I ask for your cooperation in helping us accomplish this.

The Universal Life Church Name

To help clarify things there is 100's of ULC's, but there is only two major Universal Life Churches, one in California and one in Florida. There is a Universal Life Church Monastery based out of Tucson, AZ., however they are not still ordaining new ministers, nor do they recognize any ULC Monastery ordination issued after September of 2006.

So what is the difference between the two active major ULC's?

The one in California is a non faith based organization & The one in Florida is a faith based organization.

This Church is a spin off from "Life Church" started by Kirby Hensley in his garage in 1959. This Church has no real doctrine of faith. It ordains anybody but not within any respective faith. Ordinations are legal from the standpoint Ministers are afforded to serve as non faith based Wedding Ministers over and above what is already afforded to them under the 1st Amendment. The issue is they are non-Christian and ordain followers of satan, atheists, even though ordinations are not within the respective faith or belief it still contradicts Christendom, The Bible, The Ten Commandments and the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. The ULC of California refers to itself as the Universal Life Church International Headquarters. The ULC Modesto is famous for having perhaps the largest clergy base of 18-20 million.

This Church is a spin off from the "Universal (Life) Church" originated within the 2nd Century, it is the name of the first Roman Church and in accord therewith strictly adheres to the Christian Doctrine. This Universal Life Church is the ONLY Universal Life Church to offer legal faith based ordination affording Ministers to serve not only as Wedding Ministers, but are fully recognized as ordained faith based Non-Denominational Ministers or Independent Catholic Priests within the Christian Doctrine of Faith, providing them opportunity for employment and full acceptance from within the Christian Faith as REAL Faith Based Ordained Ministers. This Universal Life Church refers to themselves as the Universal Life Church World Headquarters. The ULC Florida doesn't come close with respect to a clergy base the size of the ULC Modesto, but they are without question the largest ULC in the world, with respect to congregation size serving 100's of 1000's of Christians worldwide.

The name Universal Life Church from a Religious standpoint means "Catholic or Christian Life Church" or "Assemblies of Catholic or Christian Life"

PICTURE MINISTER ID CARDS

Again these are an extremely important facet of your appearance and respectability as a ULC faith based Minister. These serve as both a wallet credential and/or as a badge and at no cost to you, you can request a lanyard, badge clip or badge reel. Other ULC's offer such without a picture, but they also offer a childish, useless press pass or parking permit. How you present yourself, it is so very important. If you want people to take you serious in whatever it is you do, you need to be professional and look professional.

No not all County Clerk's or Wedding Authorities within your state or country requires such, however as a faith based Minister your ministry work extends far beyond that of being a wedding minister. Here in the USA, no law enforcement agency, DOC or FBOP facility, hospital or nursing home will view you as a legitimate Minister, without a picture Minister ID Card.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN STARTING AN IN-
HOME CHURCH, PRAYER GROUP AND/OR ETC?

Don't forget we offer to you what is referred to as "Congregational Affiliation" or a "Chartership."

Offering a Charter of Church Affiliation from the Universal Life Church and Christian Academy was a decision that required much debate. So many churches offer charters that have little or no value to the affiliated local church members. We wanted a charter that not only shows affiliation with the Headquarters, but one that serves your church or ministry as a document you will be proud to display to the community.

A main concern in this area is that so many of the charters we investigated from other organizations serve no other purpose than to increase the coffers of those organizations. Their charters simply did not serve the local congregations as more than wallpaper and we do not care to offer such a document. A church charter issued by a major denomination requires that you abide by the national bylaws of the organization, as basically a company owned church or store of religion, if you will.

Most non-denominational Internet churches, where there are no physical headquarters office or church building, offer charters that not only do not serve their members, but also have no legal standing in some states that require registry of denomination of your physical church. To offer a valid charter, some states demand that a true physical church or ministry exists that can be substantiated. The Universal Life Church and Christian Academy comply with these standards and we are working to offer an even nicer building to serve members, both local and around the world. Though in many cases, the local church will be a house church shared by both the church and the minister's family. The chartering authority, in some instances, requires more than simply an office operated within the home. It is to your benefit to be sure that the chartering organization complies properly with the laws and requirements of your state and county. If they can not show a building dedicated primarily for purposes of religious organization, they may fall outside of your local requirements and such charter will have no legal standing.

We have worked to make our Charter of Church Affiliation into an instrument that will meet the guidelines of various states, while at the same time allowing your church and congregation to maintain the same independent status granted within our ordination process. The Headquarters in Carrabelle, Florida continues to be available to help serve the needs of your congregation while not limiting your church or ministry.

As a chartered affiliate of the Universal Life Church and Christian Academy, your church or ministry will share partnership in the overall Ministries brotherhood of members, yet maintain complete control of the affairs of your separate church or ministry. Each church or ministry will be issued a document of Chartered Affiliation, and a congregational identification number that will be valid under the terms of the chartering agreement. Chartered Affiliation is based on annual renewal of the local church charter with the Headquarters office. Agreement of charter will be sent with each certificate and must be returned to finalize the chartering agreement.

The charter was designed to allow your church or ministry freedom to worship as your faith leads you while minimizing the requirements of mans' world. For more information on "Congregational Affiliation" or "Church Chartership," CLICK HERE
