Our Universal Life Church offices will tentatively be closed from March 29th through March 31st. Please remember our Daily Readings & Daily Prayer Petitions are available 365 days of the year via our Universal Life Church website

 

I have been in Carrabelle three times in the past week and I am slated to be again tomorrow. Once I'm living within the community it'll be much easier. Yesterday my son and I we ate lunch at 11:AM at the Fisherman's Wife Restaurant. We heard so many good things from people here in Crawfordville. The realtor though just did not seem all that impressed when I mentioned we were going there for lunch and I now know why (next time I'll let Joanne take us out to eat). It wasn't bad, but not anything like I anticipated. The Fried Oyster sandwich I had was blessed with only a few oysters, very good but very few. Mr seafood Douglas had chicken wings.

On the way back to Crawfordville, I stopped at Millenders Fish Market, we bought Fresh Grouper, it was $10.95 a pound, I debated as here I am paying nearly $30 for a hunk of fish we could catch free (Do you know how much bait you can buy for $30?). I put it under the broiler and made a Parmesan Cheese based sauce, it made me feel a little bit better once I tasted it about spending $30 on a slab of fish.

 

Next time I'm getting Shrimp, I could of got easily 5-6 pounds of shrimp for what I paid for that Grouper.

 

It is not always about what others say, or how much you spend!!!
