Not My Grandpas Christian

shelly.jpg

A friend of my daughter has on her Facebook page "Not my Grandpas Christian."

Personally I think it is beautifully said and a very accurate and intelligent statement. Too many times folks stereotype Christians, they try to compare us today with Christians from yesteryear. But the fact is with each generation we individually change, yet our fundamental or core belief remains the same. It is not that the concept of Christianity changes, it is how we express ourselves and how we choose to practice our faith.

Christianity continues to grow and just because someone today might not believe in attending Mass or Church Service or they choose not to practice their beliefs like Grandpa, make no mistake this does not indicate that their belief in Jesus Christ is not as strong as Grandpas.

My Grandpa would of viewed tattoos as a sign of a satanic belief, today I view tattoos as a testament to God's greatest masterpiece and for those who choose to wear tattoo(s) they are only looking to show the beauty of God's Masterpiece to the world.
